Mr. Albin E. Waldbillig III, Director of Bands, Choirs

Bethel-Tate High School

Al Waldbillig has proudly served as Director of Bands at Bethel-Tate Local Schools since 2014 and of choirs since 2016. Under his direction, Bethel-Tate Music programs has performed at local and regional events along with a featured performance at Epcot in Walt Disney World.

Born and raised in nearby Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Waldbillig earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from The College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently is a performing member of The Fillmore Wind Band, The Fillmore Philharmonic Brass Band and Westside Community Band. He also maintains a busy schedule as a percussion clinician around Greater Cincinnati.

Mr. Waldbillig currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Land of Grant Honor band and as a Board member for the Fillmore Wind Program.

Mr. Benjamin Loyer, Director of Bands, Choirs

Bethel-Tate Middle School

Benjamin Loyer graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s of Music in Education and is in his 4th year of teaching. In his second year at Bethel-Tate, Ben has also worked as a long term sub band at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts and at Mason Middle School. In his first year of teaching, he worked as an associate director for Grant County Schools in Kentucky. This coming summer, Mr. Loyer will finish his Masters degree in Music Education from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

Originally from St. Mary’s Ohio, Ben grew up in Colerain and found his love of music through the various opportunities that were offered to him while in the North West Local School District. When not working at Bethel-Tate Local Schools, Mr. Loyer is the church music director and Choir Director at Groesbeck United Methodist Church in Colerain.
